Losing a pet is very emotional, but there are things we can do to make it easier on our pets. We feel that we are very fortunate to have the option to let our pets go and prevent them from suffering. Oro Valley Mobile Vet is dedicated to making the process as comfortable and gentle as possible for you and your pet. We will meet with you to learn about what is occurring and to ensure that euthanasia is the proper decision. In most cases, we find that pet families have excellent intuition about this – but occasionally we can offer a different treatment modality or perspective that hasn’t been tried before.

At the time of euthanasia, we encourage you to be with your pet to provide comfort to them as they pass. We use a combination of medications that allow them to gently go to sleep and pass away peacefully and gently. This combination of medications is often customized depending on that nature of what is going on with your pet and what can make them the most comfortable. When you have said your goodbyes and are done visiting with your pet, we can gently remove them and provide cremation services if you would like.
